It has been the highlight of each day to receive and read the inspiring notes left by Santa:)
What a thoughtful gift to us this season!
Here is Day 9 from our Secret Santa:
Dear Blickenstaffs: Thunder and lightening louder than the sound of a beating drum, the disciples of Christ feared, for they knew not what to do. So they turned to their master who "arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still...and there was a great calm." When we turn to Christ, he can calm our storms of life. Mark 4:35-41
What a wonderful reminder to us that Christ is in control, and all who obey Him (even as do the wind and the waves) and have faith in His redeeming power, will find the "peace of God, which passeth all understanding...." (Philippians 4:7). This peace has filled our souls as we hold dear in our heart our three-year-old daughter Courtney who left us twelve years ago.
