Since our last Office couple departed the first of May, the office has been limping along. Thankfully our Perpetual Education Fund couple have stepped in and have pulled both loads, working late every night and all weekend long. We are so grateful for the arrival of our new Office couple! Since they flew in from the Provo MTC late Saturday night, we spent the night in temple housing and drove down to the mission home Sunday morning:)
The local ward was ecstatic to receive a Chinese couple in their area, and to hear them bear their testimony in their native language! From America, Mandarin is only one of the languages they are fluent in (Cantonese, Portuguese, English to name a few). After church, they enjoyed a welcome dinner and brief introduction to the Taichung mission at the mission home.
